BELAX hires current Baltimore Lutheran School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Head Coach Bill Zopp
BELAX hires current Baltimore Lutheran School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Head Coach Bill Zopp to coach the BEAX Elite team in 2009.

Coach Zopp had been with CCBC Essex since the fall 2001 before joining the
Baltimore
Lutheran
School's lacrosse program in 2008.
At Essex Bill served as an assistant coach under Head Coach Brian Duncan.
Coach Zopp worked as a goalie coach, assistant offensive coordinator and substitution box coach.
In 2004 the Knights captured the perfect season going 19-0 and winning the 2004 NJCAA National Title.
Coach Zopp has been a part of the Blue Hen Lacrosse Camp, Hotbeds Lacrosse Camp, Workhorse Lacrosse Camp, and Knights Lacrosse Camps.
Prior to working with Coach Duncan at CCBC Essex, Coach Zopp coached under Randy Mercer at
Division
III
Guilford
College in
Greensboro,
NC as an offensive coordinator.
Coach Zopp enjoyed a successful college playing career at CCBC Essex and
Greensboro
College.
At CCBC Essex Zopp helped lead the 1995 team to a runner-up finish vs. Herkimer CCC in the NJCAA National Championship game as a midfielder.
After his 2 years at Essex he continued his playing career at
Division
III
Greensboro
College under 1st year Coach Dan Cetrone.
As a member of the Pride lacrosse team
Zopp finished his 2 year career at GC 7th on the all time scoring list with 72 points.
During his senior year with the Pride, Coach Cetrone had this to say about Zopp, A proven finisher, who will be counted on to put the team on his shoulders at times.
Coach Zopp and his wife Kelly reside in White Marsh MD they are the proud parents of a daughter Jordan Rose and a son Evan Jacob. Coach Zopp also enjoys playing golf, flag football and is a member of the Kooper's Tavern Men's Masters Lacrosse team.
